Preparation of Issue 9 of the magazine “Design Notebooks in Public Works”

Work is already underway on the preparation of the next issue of the Journal “Cuadernos de Diseño en la Obra Pública”, the Journal of design and aesthetics in infrastructures, promoted by the Working Group “Design and aesthetics of infrastructures”.

Its aims to:

•  
• To highlight the importance of design, form and aesthetics in the development of public works or infrastructures.
• Consider the aesthetics and formal aspects of public works as one more functionality to be taken into account and valued in their design and construction, due to the visual perception that citizens have of them.
• Generate debate, information and training on the aesthetics of public works with the aim of ensuring that they have a positive, rather than a negative impact on the territory, from the perspective of the society that contemplates them, the users of the territory.
• Motivate and involve public works professionals in the aesthetic and formal aspects of public works
